Join Team Diabetes and Make a Difference!
March 9, 2009
Thinking of how to make a difference in people’s lives that integrates your healthy, outdoor lifestyle? Hike with Team Diabetes in the Grand Canyon this September! This exciting event is a great way to take on the challenge of one of three trails in the Grand Canyon with the support of trained, knowledgeable guides while supporting the Canadian Diabetes Association and the over two million Canadians living with diabetes. In return for reaching the fundraising goal, team members receive return airfare from Vancouver, 4 nights accommodation, a 16 week on-line training program to prepare for the challenges of the Grand Canyon, Team Diabetes gear, fundraising materials and more! Registration to take part in this exciting excursion closes April 3rd but we recommend signing up as soon as possible to give yourself more time to fundraise and train. To find out more about this event and Team Diabetes please contact Rebecca Taylor at rebecca.taylor@diabetes.ca, call 604-732-1331 ext. 246 or visit the website at www.teamdiabetes.ca.
